German Version

Today, Armin T. Wegner is best known for his protest against the Armenian genocide.

At last, his literary work is now available again. As the author of radio plays, bestsellers in the form of travel books and novels, but also as the writer of courageous political statements, he spoke up courageously against the powers-that-be of his time (»Letter to Hitler«). The works of the narrator and lyricist are now to be published in a 3-volume edition, beginning with this selection of stories.
Wegner’s early miniatures, which he himself called »Poems in Prose«, are dramatic, curious or even fairytale-like in character. His »Turkish Novellas« are also timeless: inspired by his experiences in Anatolia, they are just as exciting to read today as when they were first written. The edition closes with examples of his late prose.
